1. Instagram Throwback Posts

One of the Historian's duties is to manage the Photo of the Month Contest and announce the winners on the NJCL Instagram page, @nationaljcl.

In addition to this, I want to introduce monthly JCL History Spotlights to the Instagram.

These posts would highlight fun/interesting events in our organization's history!

My goal is to present the facts in a way that is a bit more digestible for anyone who doesn't have the time or isn't able to read the whole JCL history pdf.

In a similar vein to the throwback posts, I think we can further improve ease of access to JCL history by creating a digital timeline.

I plan to use the information from the pdf that is available on the website to display some of the facts in a way that is visually engaging! Again, this is 100% not intended to replace reading the text itself, but instead to extend the information's reach.

Everyone takes in information differently, which is why I want to provide you with more options for interacting with your history.

There's already a lot on the JCL website about our history, but why not make it a big more public-facing and easy to engage with?
